Notes on Evaluating Our Motional-Feedback Headphone Amplifier

Here are a few notes: 

1. Start with the HiBy R1 DAP (Digital Audio Player) to minimize configuration work on computer software or smartphone. 
2. Hold Power button of HiBy R1 DAP until the device power up. Power Button is on the upper left corner. 
3. Plugin the USB-C cable to HiBy R1 DAP and the headphone amplifier. 
4. Connect the headphone with the amplifier via 3.5mm plug. 
5. Adjust Volume to 10%. Volume Buttons are on the right middle. 
6. On HiBy R1 DAP, Click Music, Albums and find the songs you like to hear. (If HiBy DAP does not boot into home screen, sweep right a few times to get to home screen.) 
7. A few recommendation of songs to start: 
   Disney 100 [Disc 2] Album (16-bit 44.1kHz)
   You're Surrounded Album (DSD128)
   I AM: Celine Dion => Power of Love (16-bit 44.1kHz)
   Two Hearts [Disc 2] => Sane (16-bit 44.1kHz)
   Hell Freezes Over [Live] => Hotel California [Live] (16-bit 44.1kHz)
   
8. Once you are happy with the outcome on HiBy DAP, you can try playing through smartphone or computer. 
9. On iPhone, install HiByMusic and setup the options following the below screenshots. 
   First, make sure Equalizer is Disabled. 
   Second, under Advanced, make sure DoP is Enabled. 
   Third, under Fixed output sampling rate, make sure it is NOT Enabled. 
   Fourth, under MSEB, make sure it is Disabled. 

   

   

    

   

   

10. On Android Phone, install HiByMusic and setup the options following the below screenshots. 
    First, make sure Equalizer, PEQ, MSEB are all Disabled.
    Second, make sure there is NO plugins applied. 
    Third, Enable Exclusive HQ USB Audio Access, Set DSD mode to Native, Set Volume mode to Hardware volume. 
    Fourth, under Fixed output, make sure it is NOT Enabled.
